The lead up to Xmas. Crazy, rushed, demanding, multi-tasking, - TopicsExpress

The lead up to Xmas. Crazy, rushed, demanding, multi-tasking, splitting at the emotional seams only to sew them back up as you keep calm and carry on. Gregs at the computer working and Im sitting on the blue lounge eating macadamia nuts and blueberries. Thinking....what can I write? How to make it engaging - not wanky, hard selling or boring. I cant stand reading posts like that myself. But if truth be known, I want to down a beer and eat a couple of Mars Bars. The sugar would blow my head off its shoulders and the beer would give me confidence to serenade the neighbourhood (not good). The telly is blaring 80s music film clips. Greg interrupts calling, hey Mares, got a really nice email from one of our customers. Shes chasing a pudding recipe, have you got one? I shift my weight on the blue lounge. My knee is stiff. No, I call out, but Ive got a killer Christmas cake I found on line. The macadamias are finished. I glance over at the telly and see a man in a blue g-string holding a pink Xmas tree. I dont recall the song, or the film clip but Im fascinated by the pink Xmas tree. It would go well with the blue lounge. Blueberries. Frozen blueberries in punnets. I like very much. So this post isnt about food as such, nor a reminder to get your order in, or an informative piece. Its just a random post. The kind I like to read and also write from time to time. Im off to kiss my children and listen to them snore - a favourite sound in this household. Mary.
