The least surprising verdict of the year: It is almost impossible to convict a police officer on murder charges. The prosecution should not feel the least bit disheartened. The disgusting gloating by the defense and the outrageous accusations against the prosecution and the media, sewage through and through, will hopefully mark the end of an era. Race as an undercurrent? Yeah right. I hope you can feel my eyes rolling. Now that the trial is over, perhaps we will be permitted a comment or two about race. I have one question of the main stream media and dare any of them to have the guts to answer it. What happens to your chances of being killed by the cops if you are black as opposed to white. That is not an opinion poll or comentary. That is not supposition or point of view. That would be a number, a statistic, a measurement, a fact. And it ought to be part of any discussion of lingering or resurgent racism in America.
