The link for the video I am posting is just another example of what our children have to deal with for possibly a lifetime. The woman in the video was adopted by Americans from Korea, as a baby. She tells of the adoptee feelings growing up and into her thirties. How the detactment from who she really is, is very frustrating. Heart wrenching to see how the adopted parents react to her wanting answers from her birth, wanting them to understand HOW SHE FEELS, how deep down she has always felt. This is tradgic for an individual even when one thinks (parent or adoptive parents) they are doing the right thing. I wonder how my son, Samuel, is feeling and if the adoptive parents will even allow him to expressive himself. Especially since Sam was 10 years old, with an established family; mother, step-father, father, brothers and sisters, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins... he had already formed bonds with and loves deeply. :( youtu.be/cYI686su6PY
