The link is an animation produced by the NWS Weather Prediction Center and shows a chance of snow for Sunday late afternoon. Its still unclear whether or not this will occur. Most models are showing that it will be too warm for any sort of winter precipitation around that time. Odds will be better in higher elevations and regions in the north. Also displayed in the animation is a winter mix (purple). As with snow, most model runs are showing temps being too warm for winter precip... All that being said, the chance of winter weather is there. *Remember, small chance doesnt mean no chance!* Winter precip chances will be fairly close to our region no matter what. With that proximity, it might pay to stay weather aware during that time frame. Personally, I dont see much chance of snow Sunday.
