The little girl Shakia has been fighting the grown woman Shakia lately.. and the head and the heart have been at odds...and all the while im beside myself like wtf is going on? Its crazy to think that the you thats functional and the you thats internal can be in two totally different places... Its almost like theyre strangers in passing. Totally different wants & needs, ethical responses, and defense mechanisms.. Ima need them to go get their nails done and do lunch or something together and talk things out because we need to be on one page so we can move forward
