The little things you dont notice youre grateful for until you come home.......... Brushing my teeth with tap water and having no fear of swallowing shower water when I wash my face. Having sit down toilets and toilet paper readily available in most public places Good wine and good quality steak and lamb!! Eating Salads and drinking drinks with ice in them Crossing the road without fear of being hit by a skooter. Obviously there are major things that I immediately realized I was grateful for when on our trip. Such as not living in poverty, sleeping in a bed, not having to live on $3 a day and ear $100 a month. Having all of my limbs. Not being a victim of war. The list goes on and on!! Having said all this if you offered me the opportunity to stay longer in these countries I definitely would have taken you up on it!! Especially Laos!! But I am so grateful to come home to such a privileged country and lifestyle :)
