The local people have locked the Happy Valley M E School, Dooloogram T. E falling under the BEEO udharbond. This is a part of the long struggle to improve the educational environment in this region. The local people and even the local body representatives have written to every local and State level authority possible. Starting from the Head Master (Nur Ahmed Laskar) himself to the Minister of Education, Govt of Assam and everyone in between. They filed so many RTIs without any response and most are with the State Information Commission now. They have no other way now. I tried to pacify but people are not ready to listen and I think they should not listen. One young man asked me Dada if these people can take the allocated money for water supply or toilet and construct their houses, why not demolish the half constructed structures and put on our roads? They are standing up for the right of their children to education and I extend my moral support to them!!
