The long hallway was silent except for the lone static and endless loop of horror movies on the computer screens overhead. The sound of a woman getting murdered would play and the quality of the picture would be excellent, then turn fuzzy. A figure sat in front of the main computer screen, his cold blue eyes scanning the screen with his headset on. Jacks incredibly long, shaggy black hair hung in front of his eyes as he typed absentmindedly on the keys, his fingers delicately never missing a single stroke. That was he did. He was perfection, pure and untainted. Or had been. If only hed managed to keep his job, and then everything would have been- No. It wasnt his fault. Jack shook his head and sighed to himself as he leaned back in the chair and thought about his accomplishments. Getting inside his home would be difficult for anyone, except to him; hed made a code that only he could exit to and from where he lived. And, Jack had also built a intercom outside so he could verify anyone who came by his home. IF they even figured out that he was even here. To anyone who stopped the scrap yard. the small fortress of metal and copper would just look as a single large cluster of odds and ends. This way, he could go about his business without being detected.
