The long nightmare is finally over (for me, anyway). I was fired today by Imperva for poor performance. Essentially, I was unable to help the Federal customer whose security gateways were down because of three bugs in the code. This started on Mothers Day and is still unresolved at the customer, but now its not my nightmare anymore. Ive been working in computer support for 25 years, and I cant take the stress any longer. I dont know where were headed next, but the next few months will be challenging. Bring on the challenge.
