The longer we live with discomforts in our body, the more like - TopicsExpress

The longer we live with discomforts in our body, the more like home they begin to feel. Its a bit like living under a rock. The weight of the rock is at first painful and hard- but after awhile it becomes a hiding place, a security blanket. Its familiar and therefore safe. Crawling out from under the rock leaves you exposed and feeling vulnerable. Such a fear it may present that you turn, quick to go back under. Newly felt freedoms in your form as healing shifts take place are surprising at times, scary. Feeling different, they are sometimes labeled as bad. This will send some folks rushing right back into their well trained behaviors, habits, where success is measured in the phrase Im still alive rather than Im fully living my life. Instead of redefining yourself, living in and under your rock, you manage to reinforce the patterns... the pain. Creating and maintaining the shift towards ease takes time and conscious effort. Witnessing the changes are not enough if you dont also notice the well tuned attempts to go back to that home under your rock. To crawl out from that rock and not go back takes determination, trust, and a mind open to the possibilities that are endless and endlessly good! Eagerly and without fear. Seeking newer and richer experiences. Living your life and not looking back. Let Eleanor Roosevelts words help you today. “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” ― Eleanor Roosevelt
