The loopholes that you must block -Eph6:10-18 The devil can’t do anything against you until he sees a loophole in your life from where he can attack you. The Bible says that we should give no place to the devil. This implies that satan really has no place except the one you gave him. The devil wants to touch you everyday, so he looks for ways to do it; whether through an individual, family, group of people, even among covenant friends, he looks for the way to intrude. Ephesians 6:11 says “put on the whole armour of God. Here are some of the loopholes that the devil uses against God’s people and which you must pay attention to lest the enemy get at you. 1. Ignorance and incomplete knowledge of God’s instruction: Many have been destroyed because they are ignorant of certain things, and do you know that ignorance is not an excuse in law. Eve, in Genesis 3:13-16, had an incomplete knowledge of God’s instruction and the devil capitalized on that to lure the whole human race into sin. What are the areas in your life that you are operating in ignorance? The instructions of God can come to you as written in the Bible; they can come through your pastor or directly through the Holy Spirit into your heart. Whichever way it comes to you, they are equally important, and they can constitute a major loophole in a Christian’s life if neglected or forgotten. Go back to any forgotten instruction now before the devil gets on your case. 2. Adding to the instruction of God can bring the devil to wreak havoc in your life. See Balaam in Numbers 22-24. Don’t add or subtract from the instructions that God gives you over matters of your life; it can open you up directly to the anger of God and the destruction of the devil. Don’t do more or less to the instruction of God, just do the exact, God will not change His mind, don’t seek to negotiate the instructions of God. Prayer: I receive divine understanding and wisdom to block every move of the devil to penetrate my life. I choose the knowledge of God and obedience to his word.
