The loss of Four other Philippine-owned islands! There are still roughly four (4) other islands claimed respectively by China, Vietnam, Taiwan and Indonesia. Although they are not directly relevant to the Malaysian bloody terrorist invasion of the Philippines, it is deemed necessary to discuss them here in order to show the extent of the dismemberment of the Philippine National Territory. The photos on the left were taken by the appropriate agencies of the AFP and the latter has detailed information on the facts behind their dismemberment. Briefly, Mischief Reef, which is claimed and occupied by China, and Pugad Island which is occupied by Vietnam are within the 200-mile territorial waters of the Philippines. Mischief Reef, for instance, is roughly 900 miles from China, whereas Pugad Island is about 700 hundred miles from Vietnam. Also, the island that is currently occupied by Malaysia is about 400 miles from the latter. The reason why China, Vietnam and Malaysia are feasting on the Philippine-owned Spratley Islands lies in the fact that the area is said to be sitting on top of the biggest and the richest natural gas deposit in the world. Believing that the leaders of the Philippine Government were (still are) too cowardly, incompetent and too corrupt to resist any kind of territorial intrusions, China, Vietnam, and Malaysia took the necessary actions. The Indonesians and the Taiwanese followed suit by occupying Las Palmas and Y-Ami islands respectively. Despite the loss of the four (4) other islands mentioned above, however, I consider Malaysia’s occupation of a part of mainland Mindanao and extermination of hundreds of thousands of innocent Mindanaoan Christians to be the worse problem. Needless to say, this trend in Mindanao can have a domino effect. Once Malaysia succeeds is annexing Mindanao, Malaysia can leapfrog from one island to another until Luzon is brought under its supreme hegemony. And given the corrupt and cowardly character of the elitist Philippine leadership --- which we have seen for the last 64 years --- this speculation is not far from reality. Premises considered, it is therefore altogether fitting and proper for all of us to TAKE THE LAW IN OUR OWN HANDS, as sovereign people, and establish an NON-elitist egalitarian government pursuant to our inherent powers embodied in the Preamble of the Philippine Constitution. While it is true that the AFP is the Constitutionally-mandated Protector of the People and the National a Territory, it has not done its job for the last 64 years, and 64 years of failure I believe is more than enough. With this, I pray that the Malayans of this country will act in time to reverse the trend before it is too late.
