The lovely Angela Stacks gave me 9, so. . . 1. I was raised by rabid UT fans but have 2 daughters and a son-in-law who graduated from A&M. We badly miss those Thanksgiving Day games! 2. Some of my favorite memories are of holidays spent in Bandera,Texas on my dads deer lease on the Medina River. And I was a crack shot! 3. Saw the Beatles in 64 in Houston--4th row seats! John Lennon cap! British accent! Uncontrollable screaming and sobbing! Fanaticism! 4. As a little girl, I wanted to be a ballerina. My klutziness interfered with that career option. 5. I wanted to write like Erma Bombeck and major in journalism at UT. I settled for an English major at SHSU and am happy I did. 6. I minored in Spanish because I had started studying Spanish in the 2nd grade at Condit Elementary in Bellaire, TX. Easy A! 7. I like to write and I love the theatre. I wrote comedy for a comedy group--Eat More Theatre-- in the late 70s, and Saturday Morning (author) and No Uncertain Honor (co-author) are 2 plays of mine that were produced at SHSU. 8. I love to travel! I loved taking students to Europe and seeing them experience new things! A lifetime experience! I wish foreign travel for everyone! 9. I am deathly afraid of snakes. Any snake. I dont care if they are poisonous or not. They creep me out.
