The lyrics of Peaches discuss a man moving to the country to eat vast quantities of canned peaches at no cost to him. Briefly mentioned is what can be presumed to be a hard-working American man who cans the peaches in a factory downtown. The narrator also speculates that a finger sized hole in a singular peach may hold an ideal hiding spot for an ant. He then warns the listener; Look out! he calls. Assuming that the subject of the song exists in a finite universe, or at least a universe where the development of life is as rarefied as our own, we can also make the assumption that the subjects access to free peaches is itself finite; he cannot continue to consume free peaches indefinitely.
