The main reason for lack of vaccinations? Convenience. This has got to be the worst excuse for not vaccinating, regardless which side of the issue youre on. Yes, affluent, well-educated....and too busy to bother taking their kids to the doctor for preventative medicine. This says less about it being an intelligent decision and far more about how the pace of life today is unhealthy. This is simply an overlooked symptom of it. We need to slow down and take care of things. The kids can go without one of their myriad extra-curricular activities, or we can maybe NOT work late every day. Spend time together. Do the things that need to be done. Stop cutting corners out of convenience. This disgusts me.
