The main reason for the increasing migration of the people from the hills of uttarakhand to cities, towns and metropolis is non availability of lob avenues and lack of basic health facilities. There is lack of hospitals, dispensaries and primary health centres at the decentralised level in uttarakhand on majority scale and even if there are hospitals or health centres there is complete lack of machines, medicines, doctors and basic necessities. Even If medicines are available there , they are of expiry dates. There is complete lack of treatment for critical illness and majority of the patients die on the way in view of lack of ambulances or proper transport facilities. The medical doctors after completing their mobs degrees throng to cities for better prospects than to serve the people of the interiors who actually need treatment.the government of the day should make it officially mandatory for the doctors of uttarakhand to serve in the Interiors of uttarakhand for a minimum period of 5 years failing which their degrees should be cancelled and it should allocate maximum budget for construction of fully studded hospitals in the interiors of the hills at the lock or district level. This is actually the need of the hour.
