The majority of the dwellers of Hell are women (respect, obedience and treatment towards our husbands) The Prophet (s.a.w) said: If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone else, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands. (Tirmidhi) Allah does not look at a woman who does not thank her husband while she cannot do without him. (Al-Hakim) The Prophet s.a.w said: The Salaat of a woman disobedient to her husband does not reach further than her head (i.e. it is not accepted by Allah Ta’ala. (her Salaat remains unacceptable) until she desists from her disobedience. (Tirmidhi) The Prophet s.a.w said: A woman does not injure her husband in this world without his wife among the houris saying, Do not injure him, may Allah fight you! He is a guest with you who is about to leave you for us. (Tirmidhi) The Prophet (s.a.w) said to a woman regarding her husband: How are you with respect to him? She answered: I do not fail in obeying him except in those things that I am incapable of doing. The Prophet (s.a.w) told her: Look to how you are with respect to him, for he is your paradise and your hell-fire. (Ahmed) Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Prophet (s.a.w) said, O women folk! You should give charity and be diligent in seeking Allahs forgiveness because I have seen (i.e., on the Night of the Ascension to the highest heavens) that the majority of the dwellers of Hell are women. A woman amongst them said: Why is it that the majority of the dwellers of Hell are women? The Prophet (s.a.w) replied, You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. In spite of your lacking in wisdom and failing in religion, you are depriving the wisest of men of their intelligence. Upon this the woman asked: What is the deficiency in our wisdom and in our religion? He (s.a.w) replied, Your lack of wisdom can be well judged from the fact that the evidence of two women is equal to that of one man. You do not offer Salat (prayer) for some days and you do not fast (the whole of) Ramadan sometimes, it is a deficiency in religion. (Muslim) A woman who dies at a time when her husband was pleased with her will enter jannah (Ibn Majah) “Muhammed s.a.w said: A woman is punctual on her five daily Salaah and fasts for the month of Ramadaan and safeguards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her (on the day of Judgment): Enter through whichever door of Paradise you wish” (Ahmed)
