The majority of u arent aware that a month ago I spent several days in ICU. I was in kidney failure & came as close to dying as I ever care to. I have NEVER had an issue w/my kidneys; havent drank (but once) in 6 years; Had none of my the symptoms below; I was sleeping ALOT & talking jibberish in the days b4. Luckily, everything turned around & I didnt have to have dialysis. The Kidney specialist, Dr. Nayez, and his staff have been nothing less than AMAZING. They think its residual effects of the antibiotic that nearly killed me (Levaquin & Cipro) &/or a reaction to accidentally taking extra blood pressure meds. It has been a long, love filled month since then. And, although my kidneys bounced back, quickly... Ive been taking my time. Why say anything now? Because, if it wasnt for those closest to me, recognizing the differences in my behavior - I wouldnt be here. So, keep a close eye on those you love, those around you. Go with your gut. Please - dont be or feel sorry for me - it turned out to be a beautiful experience; a great opportunity for growth & Im grateful it happened. sciencedump/content/things-you-need-know-about-your-pee-color
