The making of a hare, part 2 Colouring. After the ears, eyes and nose are all in place, the first stage of colouring (pic 2) is to add a slightly darker base shade, this is applied to the outer ear, the eye sockets, the muzzle and top of head. Once thats dry, the next coat is applied, this is a darker brown, again the ears, eyes and nose are further picked out. Finally a rose blush is applied to the cheeks and inner ears. (pic 3) Suddenly, you can see the character of the hare appearing. Next i do the same to each of the limbs, and add a tint to the body...... Once dry its ready site assembly! Dx
