The mall reportedly lost a considerable amount of revenue from the shutdown. Officers were forced to close 80 stores and multiple mall entrances as soon as the crowd chanting began. Bloomington City lawyer Sandra Johnson is currently building her criminal case. She is trying to acquire restitution for the mall, city and overtime for police officers who responded. “Who led that march through the Mall of America?” asked Johnson. “If we can identify those people who were inciting others to continue with this illegal activity, we can consider charges against them too.”
