The man found on the bike path on Monday evening has been identified as Robert Bowker, age 51 of Rapid City. Bowker was found slumped over in the grass near the bike path on Mt. Rushmore Road at approximately 8:15 p.m. on July 21. A couple jogging on the path found him and called 911. He was deceased. Preliminary autopsy results indicate no evidence of recent trauma. Further testing will be performed to include microscopic examination and toxicology. Completion of the autopsy report takes approximately 30 days. The RCPD and PCSO are continuing to investigate.
