The man killed just after midnight in a motorcyclist crash on Briley Parkway near Whites Creek Pike is identified as Carlos Pichardo-Morelos, 28, of Tru Long Drive in Antioch. The preliminary investigation indicates that Pichardo-Morelos was riding a Suzuki GSXR east on Briley Parkway when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck a guardrail. A short time later, the driver of an eastbound car, Ronald Williams, 20, swerved to miss the motorcycle which was lying in the middle of the roadway causing him to strike the inside retainer wall. Williams, of Lebanon Pike, reported that he did not see the motorcycle crash. He was not injured. Pichardo-Morelos, who was wearing a helmet, died on the scene.
