The man suspected of killing 3 RCMP officers in Moncton, New Brunwick is now in police custody. (from the CBC) Justin Bourque, the man suspected of carrying out a shooting that left three Mounties dead and two others wounded, has been apprehended by RCMP in Moncton. RCMP spokesman Paul Greene said Bourque was arrested at 12:10 a.m. AT Friday. Police advised residents of north Moncton, who had been on lockdown while the manhunt for Bourque was underway, that they can now leave their homes. RCMP will hold a news conference at 8 a.m. AT in Moncton. Bourque, 24, is suspected of carrying out a shooting Wednesday evening in the northwest area of the city in which three RCMP officers were killed and two wounded. Michelle Thibodeau, a resident of north Moncton, told CBC News that Bourque was arrested in her backyard. She said she saw police officers head into a patch of trees in her yard and heard five minutes of screaming. “Justin came out with his hands up, and he said, Im done, she told CBC News.
