The man who wrote this song, drove from New Mexico to Colorado to sing it at the foot of my moms bed on the last day of her life. One of the most special moments Ive ever experienced, Don Conoscenti is an incredible person, the song comforted her when she lost someone she loved. It has done the same for me as well and is once again here to help me through the loss my my father. I put this video together as a tribute to a friend a few years ago, and though its an emotional song, it is also one of healing. When people talk of the power of music, this song exemplifies it.
