The map at the following link shows suggested bike routes for display on a regional brochure map describing current bicycling opportunities in the Albemarle region: cp.mcafee/d/avndy0s921J5AsYYDt55YTsSzt4sOe79KfCQrEzChMVBxUSzt4sOe79Ke6QrEzC64kPhOyrc4ZEl-sMliHsOvNxgDmfQbMJN6FATiHsOvNxgDmfQbMJN6FASCztdRdd_HYPssDty_nKnjKYqeuopp7n79YJt6OaqGdNTaxVZicHs3jq9JcTvC4rLFKcELL6XCM0mDAflS9_A95vmfS7bUgzmNdKfBRtmU76Zx3_EjfZno0HjVWIvI8iwhVsSyyCCYr6p5vd40P6Jyrsvd40bGTfW6y1SIjh02_cOYMrKrxKqu. The Albemarle Regional Bike Plan developers would like your feedback on these routes! You can zoom in and out on this map for more detail, and click on a segment to see what loop it is a part of. In addition, you can download a pdf of suggested routes that are color-coded. This downloadable map shows where route loops and connectors overlap. Please email Steve Lambert ([email protected]) or Anne Eshleman (anneeshleman@altaplanning) by 9/20/13 with any suggested changes or ideas for other routes. The routes are meant to highlight current loops near towns, or connections between towns, that are ideal for recreational bike riding. They were developed during the planning process for the Albemarle Regional Bike Plan based on fieldwork, local input, and analysis of roadway characteristics. These routes should be used with caution and do not contain bicycle facilities in most locations.
