His walking to the mosque and his Salat (prayer) will earn him extra merit.’” [Muslim] FIFTH: The hope to be elevated in ranks in Paradise. •Allah’s Messenger (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “Shall I not tell you something by which Allah blots out the sins and elevates ranks (in Paradise)?. The companions said: “Yes, O Allah’s Messenger” He (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “Performing ablution thoroughly in spite of difficult circumstances, walking with more paces to the mosque and waiting for the next Salaat after observing the previous Salaat, and that is Ar-Ribaat, and that is Ar-Ribaat.” [Muslim] SIXTH: The hope of having the gates of Paradise opened for you. Allah’s Messenger (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “If anyone of you makes ablution carefully and then affirms: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ ‘I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. [Muslim] O Allah, make me among those who turn to You in repentance, and make me among those who are purified.’ [Nasai] the eight gates of paradise are opened for him. He may enter by whichever of these gates he desires (to enter).” [Muslim] SEVENTH: The Hope of attaining Allah’s love. Allah loves Al-Mutatahhireen and At-Tawabeen (those who purify themselves and those who repent). You also obtain Allah’s love by following the Sunnah of the Prophet (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam). Evidence: Surat al-Imran (3: 31) – {Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”} EIGHT: The hope to enter Paradise. NINTH: The hope that an Angel will pray for you as you retire (sleep) in state of purity. TEN: Whoever performs Wudu’ twice (washing his limbs) will get multiple reward from Allah and whoever performs wudu’ thrice (washing his limbs), then he has performed the Wudu’ of the Prophet (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and the Prophets before him. Anas Bin Maalik (Radia Allaahu ‘anhu) narrated that the Prophet (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) asked for water to perform Wudu’. He washed his face once, his hands once, his feet once, then he said: ‘This is the Wudu’ which Allah will accept no Salat without it.‘ Then he (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) asked for water to perform Wudu’, so he performed Wudu’ by washing twice twice, then he said: ‘This is the Wudu’ of whom Allah will give multiple reward.’ He (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) then asked for water to perform Wudu’ and he washed thrice (the limbs) saying: ‘This is the Wudu’ of your Prophet (Salla Allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and the Prophets before him.‘” [Al Silsilah as Saheeha #261]
