The mercy of God doesn’t depend upon the number or degree of our sins. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. All stand guilty before the Lord. We all helped crucify Jesus. Our sin sent him to that cross. Our darkened hearts drove those nails. We all need God’s grace - from the worst of sinners to the greatest of “saints”. And realizing His grace will always have an effect on us. If it doesn’t change us, it is probably not God’s grace. It is more likely a clemency that we authored ourselves. Faith in Christ should change us to the core because God is into transformation as well as mercy. To be saved is to be changed. Have you been changed? -- Friar Tuck’s Word of the Day
