The message here is absolutely beautiful and well-said. Fathers, teach your sons to respect women and TALK through issues rather than raising their fists and fighting through them. Sons, even if your father or mother wasnt the best role model, you CAN break the cycle and at the very least raise your own awareness of how to treat women, and more importantly how to deal with any issues that arise in the healthiest way possible. And women out there...hitting is not okay for you either. Not because youre a woman, not because youre having a fight, not for any reason. Know your worth, ladies...domestic abuse only escalates over time. Hopefully the widespread public outcry for awareness will actually bring some.
