The middle of May already? Geeeeze, Ill be 51 at the end of the month and I dont know where the time has gone. The final few issues with our apartment should be sorted today and we will actually be moving in. I was reminded today, by a semi regular, who is a habitual late comer to breakfast, that our hours are inconsistent. Sorry folks, if we sit for an hour or two without customers, we cut our losses and close up. Its inconvenient for those who cant seem to drag themselves out of bed before 10:45, but its an income verses payroll issue. This particular Gentleman has commented on several occasions hell never be back, and yet, here he was again. With summer looming, please remember the grill will sometimes close early depending on the heat and traffic through the door. As our staff grows and people are trained to fill my shoes, lunch service is becoming a plausible possibility. We have a great menu planned, but if we cant pull it off with our standards of efficiency, were not attempting it. Do it right, or dont do it at all is my policy. I hope everyone understands this and of course, Have A Daybreak Day!
