The mighty JIMMY JAMES BARNES....One of the great Detroit Princes of the 1960s who would never have got near a stage like the one mentioned in the post below....Glory, glory Northern Soul....Without the great love affair of the British for the Soul Music of Black America, artists and records like this would have been long forgotten....The fact that thousands and thousands of Brits have been travelling for 100s of miles to dance to brilliant records like this for decades says it all....Rant over!
