The military is cracking down on what its own personnel can see in regards to media outlets that have published leaked material. A protected source provided the directive stating that employees were prohibited from visiting the website The Intercept. Stating ..we have an ongoing responsibility to protect classified material in all of its various forms. Viewing potentially classified material (even material already wrongfully released in the public domain) from unclassified equipment will cause you long term security issues. This is considered a security violation. Is this a cause for high concern even outside of the militarys realm of control?
