The mind is a wonderful thing, at least mine is, watching PBS cooking show and they mentioned garlic and my mind went back to college. One of the required courses was "Western Civilization" history, I hated history. Well, there was a professor by the name of "Dr. Fyerworth" I know I probably killed his last name, but, those of my friends that went to PSC remember him well. This guy was the classic weirdo, walked around campus dressed in a pith helmet, umbrella, rain coat, every day. His lectures were like listing to a recording, he would write on the blackboard and talk and when the period was over just stop, the next class he would resume at the exact sentence and black board word that ended the last class. OK, the garlic, my class was right after lunch, the Dr. would eat raw garlic for lunch, I sat somewhat in the middle of the room and the smell was memorable, I dropped his class twice !
