The minimum wage debate; really? Were going to rhetorically debate this? We have almost 50 employees - from a bunch of different socio-economic backgrounds, education levels, race, religion and creeds...even recent immigrants. NOT a single one makes minimum wage. We dont start anyone at minimum wage regardless of the job. Why? Simple answer. We recruit, find and want employees that want more than that and then give them an opportunity to improve themselves. Were not special. Were just like millions of other small businesses out there. Point is, who really wants a minimum wage job? We act like everyone makes minimum wage when we have these stupid political debates. Fact is, around 1% of the workforce actually makes minimum wage. Its simply a debate designed to take our focus off of what needs to happen to improve Americans lives. WE NEED MORE JOBS. Good paying jobs. Ive attached just one example of an opportunity to do that thats being blocked by the left. 40,000 jobs, Billions pumped into the economy. Lets focus on THAT. Lets focus on what fixes a lot of problems. JOBS...OUTPUT...LESS DEPENDENCY ON PRODUCT sold by many who want to kill us. Oh, yes, Im environmentally conscience and responsible - not just with words but also with my wallet! Truth is, if you drive, if you use roads for anything, if you use or have plastic in your home, if you fly, if you have a cell phone, then you too are a petroleum consumer. So save the self-righteous BS on your tree-hugging platform. Youre just not balancing facts from a fair risk/return position.
