The missers and I ***REALLY*** wanted to jag out to BC for the weekend, to attend our pal Tims wedding. But when it came down to it we were too bloody broke. :-( Bummer. Nonetheless we had a good time at Manitou Beach thanks to Pat and Elaine (and lets not forget Barb, who actually owns the place). Yeah, the weather was pretty dreary for late June—reminiscent of the old country, in fact—but the company, food, campfire and most of the other factors were great. Also I got to see Michael and Sharon which is always good. The weather, though, did put the kibosh on my exploring and photography, but Ill be back on those as soon as we get some decent sunshine. :-)
