The missing persons case of Anna Smith makes me reflect back on cases where I have located missing women.(not normal behavior) I would direct you to the following case F.B.I Federal Murder Case (fbi.gov/newyork/press-releases/2013/boston-area-pimp-charged-with-murdering-a-rival-pimp-in-the-bronx-in-dispute-related-to-criminal-prostitution-business) You ask how I got involved.... I came in contact with him and 3 young female college students. Readers Digest version.. A voluntary contact after I located the vehicle parked in a business park we had received a B.O.L.O. from an adjacent agency the vehicle fled from a officer... We were able to determine all 3 females were actually being pimped out by Mr. Whiteside along with one female being reported missing. This female would not go with us and due to her age she had that choice.(they were brain washed & scared). Mr. Whiteside encountered the females by walking onto campuses such as HPU & UNCG to befriend female students acting as a student and would get in the club scenes. Through search warrants and other investigative tools I and another officer were able to assist the FBI in solving this murder case. As I look at a local student missing from a college I know first had through investigations how vulnerable these young females can be to the underground world...Yes like many of you I pray she is found and returned home safely as if nothing happened.... Please those with college age children please keep a close eye on their activities to the best of you ability dont have the mind set it wont happen to our child etc. Prayer for the Anna Smith Family!!
