How exactly do you make this transformation in the life of a teenager? It looks something like this; connect, connect, connect! Julie Foster, Jr. Bible teacher and member of supervision Team 1, shares: So after rec I was doing a follow up with a female student that there had been an interaction with during rec. I walked in on the tail end of hall worship in the lobby where they were sharing some of their favorite quotes, then went into prayer requests. I tell you this because I thoroughly enjoyed the student lead moment and was blessed. It was a nice reminder that no matter what these kids say or do that might drive us crazy there are just as many moments of joy and blessing. If you can stop into the dorm at night and see the students in their natural habitat I recommend it =), you might be surprised by the blessing you will gain. Day after day, student after student, these simple conversations and moments help shape the life of a young person.
