The mistakes we make in life are due to a lack of understanding. However, the judicial system knows how to help us understand the impact of our wrong behavior. The court either fines us or imprisons us for a length of time. All in an attempt to help us understand the impact our actions had on someone else and what we must do to change. With God, we bring judgment upon ourselves when we mistreat people, especially His children. Our wrong actions are never justified with God. Vengeance belongs to Him. He repays people for their wrong, not us. A wife that hurts her husband by behaving foolishly may lose her husband, a mother that abuses her children can lose her children, a woman that mistreats a friend may lose a friend, and an employee that dishonors her job may lose a job. No matter how much you want to get what you lost back, or get to express your side of it, get understanding. When God gives you understanding and helps you see the impact your actions had on others, then you can see why God allowed what He did and be able to move on.
