The mom saga continues; I spent the morning filing for assistance, thanks to Tina for staying with her at the hospital! Then when I returned, mother was all riled up! Agitated, swearing....and I had finally had enough and I said fine, Ill take you home and when you break a hip, youll have to come back and your stay will be longer. Eat your lunch and then you can go home. She says I want it in writing! So, I whipped out my notebook and wrote If you eat your lunch, you can go home. Then our case mgr. comes up and says that everyone is very uncomfortable with her going home and I said and Im not? Shes going to fall and break a hip next and it will be worse! What am I supposed to do? I dont have $6,000.00 for a facility for two weeks and she is growing more confused by the minute! He then says we have two options and we discuss those options; option 2 sounded the best so we pursued that. They are full!! So she has to stay all night in the hospital another night!!!! OMG!!! I go back tonight and shes pleasant at first and then all of a sudden she is mad and shes going to get dressed and leave and I can just leave, she doesnt want to keep me. I lean over to give her a kiss on the cheek and the little brat moves her head!!! NOW Im convinced that the choice Ive made is the right way to go and she may be mad but its for her own good.
