The momentum has slowed down, but we need to remember why this site came about. We are seeing new slanderous stories each day about abuse but the only thing that is discussed is how horrible the veterinarian acted. No mention of going through legal channels to correct the injustice, just owners telling their side of the story. We have read a few of the stories and it might be a shock to anyone, but the veterinarians on the panel can relate to some of them. Some patients do not follow the textbook and when treatment plans dont seem to be working or a patient dies unexpectedly, it doesnt mean the veterinarian was negligent. We can see the heartbreak in the owners posts but we can also see how these situations possibly happened. Giving a one sided story out doesnt help the public, especially if they are not in the veterinary field to be able to comprehend what went on. If you feel that your veterinarian caused harm to your pet intentionally, then please go through the correct channels. Giving into hate filled websites gets you no where and if the veterinarian is really harming animals, legal justice can never be obtained by writing a review on Yelp.
