The more I think about the situation that happened several hours ago, the more uneasy I become. I walked to Pep Boys to pick up my car. Right as I was about to enter the parking lot, I noticed a young man walking exceptionally close behind me. I turned my Ipod off, kept looking behind me, and started to cross to the other side. He knew I was aware of him, and it was then that he approached me and gave me back my house key. My house key wasnt connected to any other keys. The fact that someone even noticed it fall from my pocket is very odd, in my opinion, and instead of simply giving it back to me he struck up a conversation in Spanglish about being lost. He kept mentioning that his house was located to all of these streets located close to where I live, which makes me suspect that he may have been following me for quite a while. I suspect that he was hoping that I would walk to my house, which he had the key for, but when he realized I was going into a shopping center, he changed his approach and tried to come up behind me, which I caught onto. Then, I suspect that he changed his approach again, pretending to be lost. Even when I gave him directions to his house in his language he wasnt satisfied. I suspect that he wanted to gain my trust so I would help him, to lure me away from the parking lot, which was crowded so he could do God knows what. The sad thing is that this man was so manipulative, that at first I really believed he was lost and considered helping him, but my spidey senses were still alerted because I knew the whole situation was too bizarre. I am very happy that I ended up not helping him further.
