The more and more I live each day, the more and more I realize how much nothing on this Earth really matters. I want to see Jesus when I cross over, how about you? I know the cliche New Years resolutions are all over the internet, but how many of us truly desire a better relationship with Christ? *Raises Hand* I do....If I could be transparent for a minute this has been one of the most liberating yet stressful and challenging years of my life, ESPECIALLY as a believer. Mainly growing pains, like moving out on my own for the first time, breaking into this music industry, losing friends, releasing my FIRST ALBUM EVER, etc. It was a lot of FIRSTS this year and although it was amazing there was another side also and my prayer life took a hit. I ALLOWED a lot of things take precedence over what I KNEW to be true and thats that the Lord will never EVER leave or forsake me. A simple scripture but it obtains so much truth and when I finally sat down to really think on that verse alone I felt at peace. I am never alone when Im going through. He is always with me! QUIT STRESSING! Phillipians 4:6 says Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Stop worrying, trust God! He may be silent sometimes because hes testing you but YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. That reality soothes me. Im sharing all of this because my goal is to always be REAL and TRANSPARENT with my supporters! I know I am not the only one who slacked on having a consistent, fruitful prayer life this year. I want to encourage and challenge all of my believers to try to make this year your best year with Jesus and watch the rest of your life fall in place. Start with rebuilding your prayer life!
