The more things change, the more they stay the same. Im rolling my eyes at the email I just got from a mod explaining how theyre disgusted at the wankery in the mod room, where Dean just went on a panty-bunch about how great it was to brig some people he doesnt like. All the problems that site has, and theyre expending their energy badmouthing their users and squealing with delight about taking punitive actions against them. Over a forum that has not only gone to crap, but has a mere fraction of the usage it used to. I encouraged my mod friend to speak up, but they told me that, as in most things, they have zero desire to tell Dean what an asshat hes being. I guess. Being a mod means more to them than telling the truth (and Ive been honest with them and told them that thats how I feel. Theyre cool with the cop.) This whole market makes me chuckle and MM provides some needed comedy relief to what is, otherwise, an Internet ecosystem that is simply kicking ass. I wish IB were still a public company, Id love to see their Q filings.
