The morning air was brisk. The local children were boarding - TopicsExpress

The morning air was brisk. The local children were boarding school buses after a long Thanksgiving break. Bullet let out a bark. Then another bark. I could not hear Veteran, who since adopting Bullet, would mimic every sound made by his adopted brother. I went to the window to check and what I saw shocked me. Some way, some how, Veteran was able to escape. I called for local resources and sent out a tweet for mutual aid. Im still a fast runner, how could I not be with this physique, and I was able to quickly capture the elusive 1/2 foot tall perp. As I returned Veteran back to his cell, Bullet took it upon himself to jump parole and he fled. Bullet is much bigger then Veteran so not only additional resources were necessary but a perimeter had to be established and air support had to be called in. After a 45 minute chase around the neighborhood and with some assistance from some construction workers (who by the way whistled at me) or could have been the dog, either way, assisted in the capture and return of my escapee. He too, is now resting in his cell. Thank you to all those who came out assisted.
