The morphine pump is gone, hes out of bed and sitting up in his chair, and hell be leaving ICU as soon as they have a bed and nurse assigned to him on the next ward!!!!!!! Wish we could just take the nurses from here in ICU with us to the next ward :) They are fantastic!!!!! So excited about his progress!!!!!!! Dr. Kupferschmid said he doesnt want him in bed unless hes sleeping. He has a little fluid in his lungs - which is normal at this point, but thats why he needs to be up and not in bed and walking at some point today!!!!!! :)
