The most amazing thing to me is the fact that people laugh in the face of my faith - Christianity - and say that Jesus is an imaginary deity. What I have to say about this is that Jesus is an historical figure. Historians of his time (in ancient record) have recorded history about Him. He is not imaginary. He is and was an actual living being. And even if you dont believe as I do that He is the son of God, at least you have to admit He changed the world. Jesus was revolutionary. He was friends with people we would not surround ourselves with. Why? Because He said It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. Jesus was loving to those who otherwise wouldnt deserve love. He forgave those who didnt deserve forgiveness. He died for EVERYONE to save us from damnation and offer us eternal life. Not from works but by grace so that no man can boast. He is my salvation. He has not only changed the world but is still impacting the world, 2000+ years since He walked this earth. Who among us could say the way we live our lives will impact society this way 2000 years after our death? And not only that, but for the greater good?? For this, I follow Him. Because I am forgiven but not worthy. Thats called grace. And for that I am thankful.
