The most effective way to prove the gospel to this or any other generation is to live it. People want to see that something works before they’ll believe it to be true. Jesus did not say that He came into the world to tell the truth; rather He came to bear witness to the truth. He lived an authentic life where His words, actions, thoughts and deeds all bore the same message. As followers of Christ, in our homes and churches we must be sure that we are walking our talk, that we are not professing one thing and living another. That’s what a life of integrity is all about; it is a life that is consistent everywhere. Jesus answered, “... the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.” (John 18:37)
