The most fun EVER! Reader Mary Jane R went on a Bibliophile Mystery tour of San Francisco! She sent me this message (shared with her permission): I took the Brooklyns World Google Map (katecarlisle/brooklyn.php) and visited as many real places as I could. It was great fun and a great way to see the city! I went to where Brooklyns loft would be, visited South Park and had lunch at South Park cafe. My absolute favorite place was Buena Vista cafe - and Irish coffee! Thanks so much for introducing that! I missed the Goat Hill Pizza, probably because I had come to San Francisco from Chicago and was pizzaedout! Visited the Ferry Building, Noe Valley Bakery, San Francisco Center For the Book, Chinatown, Booksmith Bookstore, and Christopher Books. I spoke to the person in Christopher Books and told him I was visiting all the #bookstores that your character visits in your books. He was unfamiliar with you and I showed him your website, katecarlisle. He Googled you and said hed have to look into your books further! Unfortunately Phoenix books is closed but now called Folio books, and the San Francisco Mystery Book Store is also permanently closed - which is a real shame. I also included some other book stores I found that you might use in a future book. Feel free to share any of the photos.
