The most meaningful gift we can give our children, loved ones, friends and neighbors is the commitment to work together to help build a better world. -Kathy Calvin, CEO of the UN Foundation. This week, tribal leaders gather in the nations capital for an important nation-to-nation summit with President Obama. Throughout the week, tribal leaders will unite our voices as we focus on the work ahead - not just for the next 2 years, but for the seven generations. This week as our minds begin to turn to the year ahead - What can you do? The answer is simple - we must unite our efforts once again: ● TOGETHER: We must present a united front as we engage with the Administration and Congress ● TOGETHER: We must build a bright future for our Native youth ● TOGETHER: We must strengthen our cultures and protect our resources ● TOGETHER: We must educate America that we are not mascots ● TOGETHER: We must build a brighter tomorrow - for Indian Country and all Americans Today on Giving Tuesday and throughout the week- we encourage you to consider: 1. Donating to NCAI 2. Inviting your family and friends to donate to NCAI Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to Indian Country. Sincerely, President Brian Cladoosby Visit NCAI.ORG Founded in 1944, the National Congress of American Indians is the oldest, largest and most representative American Indian and Alaska Native organization in the country.
