The most meaningful part of Music Fest tonight was Mark Condon singing Angels Around Me and His Eye is on the Sparrow. Took me back to being 15 years old. Singing in his choir in the middle of nowhere at a church camp in rural, hilly Pennsylvania. Then, at 16 playing my saxophone in front of my whole high school to the latter song mentioned ... In a talent show. SO much has changed. Now, Im a grown man, a bachelor, working in secular business and academia with some very bright colleagues. But, Im thankful that my simple love for God hasnt changed--only increased. And, so Thankful He is STILL watching after me. :)
