The most revealing and saddest part of this article is the next-to-last paragraph which cites recent polls indicating that most Palestinians polled approve of Hamass military approach. One would hope that a group claiming to represent the interests of its people but overwhelmingly out-gunned (despite its large supply of rockets, grenades, and small arms), but that wasnt aggressively threatened with annihilation, would at least attempt a path leading to negotiation as a means to its end of a free and thriving sovereign Palestinian nation. Not for the 1st time I will quote the late Abba Eban, former Israeli Ambassador to the U.N., who observed that, The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. If periodic war against Israel is what Palestinians favor then the IDF will certainly not shy away and even more Palestinian civilians (men, women, and children) will suffer and die in far greater numbers than Israelis. And when they and their ill-informed and misguided supporters raise a holy ruckus about the brutal Israeli militarys campaign of genocide I, and many others, will point the finger back at them and justifiably say, Habibi, you asked for it.
